Skateboard Art Project – A Splash of Creativity in Brukunga!
As part of Reclink Australia’s Brukunga Arts Program, the Skateboard Art Project has brought a burst of creativity and color to our town!
Children and adults alike took part in designing and painting unique skateboard artworks over a series of workshops with art teacher and facilitator Naomi from Wonkie Knee Art, which have now been weatherproofed and put on permanent display along the Brukunga Playground fence.

A Community-Driven Mural
This project was all about self-expression, creativity, and community spirit. Each skateboard tells its own story, reflecting the diverse talents and imagination of our residents. Now, these pieces stand proudly as a vibrant outdoor mural, brightening up our town for everyone to enjoy.

Come and See the Skateboards!
Take a walk past the Brukunga Playground and check out the incredible artwork created by local hands. It’s a reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together through art, passion, and collaboration.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated—your creativity has left a lasting mark on Brukunga! 🎨✨
